2026-08-27 - Live at Farmer's Market

Hey gang! Hope you had a good summer! I know I did!

We are now safely in Land O’ Lakes, Florida with our cat, Bear (who was a Bear in the woods of Idaho but now she is a Bear among alligators).

For some reason I didn’t throw out a Blog post on kevinselby.com about my two final gigs in Orofino, WA.

They turned out great and I got really good video and audio of the two events.

Here they are and please enjoy! I am experimenting with a ton of different genres and stuff, so you’ll notice the first set is purely solo piano (with occasional “vocalizations” which is just me singing along to the song…because I’m silly like that) while the second set opens up with a Supertramp cover (“Downstream” from the album: In the Quietist Moments) and then it goes through some jazz vocal covers and then launches into a bunch of 70s covers (like “Ventura Highway” by America, “Stormy” by Classics IV (who also did “Spooky”)) and finally I perform a few of my own vocal originals.

VERY fun and especially fun to experiment with all the “tech” (iPads, older iPhones for cameras, audio equipment and other fun stuff!).

Anyway…thought you would like to know what I was doing!

Sincerely,

Kevin B. Selby
